Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have reportedly sought unlikely comfort in another A-list couple amid their alleged family feud.
It’s claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reached out to David and Victoria Beckham’s son, inviting him and actress Nicola, whom he wed in 2022, for dinner.
According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to ‘support’ Brooklyn and Nicola as rumours continue to swirl that they have fallen out with the former photographer’s famous parents.
There have been whispers of beef in the Beckham camp since the beginning of Brooklyn and Nicola’s relationship, but things heightened when David’s eldest son failed to attend his 50th birthday celebrations.
While the rest of the family partied long into the night after a lavish meal, Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were nowhere to be seen, prompting speculation that they were not speaking.
In the aftermath, it’s now been said that Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, extended an ‘unexpected invite’ to the young couple, as they bonded over similar ‘toxic’ family experiences.
A source told The Sun that the quartet dined at the Sussexes’ £11million mansion in Montecito, California, just days after Becks’ big 5-0.
‘Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both,’ an insider began.
It’s said that ‘Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.’
Meanwhile, Meghan and Nicola found ‘common ground’ after both parties were accused of causing a rift in their husbands’ families.
The get-together was a private affair, and while it’s believed to have been etched into the diary before the alleged Beckham fallout, a ‘battle-wounded’ Brooklyn and Nicola ‘gratefully received’ the offering.
‘Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both,’ the source continued.
‘Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a “deep n’ meaningful,” as obviously, both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers—the women to tear apart their husbands’ families.
‘Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her and said there was shared common ground.’
It’s unknown whether the four have plans to meet up again, but they have exchanged phone numbers.
It’s been quite a while since Brooklyn last spoke to Harry, as he last met him at age 13.
Accompanied by his dad, Brooklyn was greeted by the Prince at The Sun’s Millies Awards in 2011.
Meanwhile, David and fashion designer wife Victoria, 51, have always had deep royal connections.
In fact, Harry’s first-ever royal engagement involved the Wannabe hitmaker, as he was pictured alongside the Spice Girls during a trip to South Africa.
Posh and Becks later attended the weddings of both Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011 and that of Harry and Meghan in 2018.
After Harry and Meghan took themselves away from the UK and their lives as working royals, David and Victoria also offered them their mansion in Beverly Hills so they could ‘hide out’ away from public intrusion.
Although there is said to be more distance between David and Harry now, as while they once enjoyed partying together and attending sports games, in recent years, their bromance has become strained.
In 2023, Harry allegedly confronted David and Victoria about stories being leaked to the press, having suspected the former Spice Girl could’ve been behind a 2018 article saying she gave Meghan beauty tips.
‘Harry is very protective of Meghan and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David,’ a source claimed at the time, before it emerged that a beautician was actually to blame.
Alas, the damage was done, but David remains close with older brother William.
