href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/25\/horror-fans-declare-childhood-trauma-back-final-destination-sequel-trailer-drops-22792406\/\">traumatise audiences<\/a> and unlock a fresh set of fears, and it seems the sixth installment in the franchise is no different.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/09\/24\/final-destination-6-directors-faked-own-decapitation-to-get-the-job-17443984\/\">Final Destination: Bloodlines<\/a> hits cinemas on May 14, marking 25 years since <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/11\/00s-horror-legend-reveals-returning-final-destination-sequel-25-years-22539089\/\">the iconic original horror thriller<\/a> was released.<\/p>\n<p>Fear runs in the family in the latest film as we follow Stefani (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), haunted by a violent nightmare and desperate to seek answers from her family.<\/p>\n<p>But it’s more than secrets being spilled between her nearest and dearest as the group realise death is coming after them one by one, leaving them desperate to break the cycle.<\/p>\n<p>It acts as <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/11\/09\/candyman-final-destination-star-tony-todd-dies-aged-69-21960298\/\">the final film of horror icon Tony Todd<\/a>, who has starred as the mysterious William Bludworth throughout the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Reviews from early screenings tease plenty of gory, elaborate death sequences, with some critics going as far as to jokingly ask Warner Bros to cover their I\u2019m a life long franchise fan, and it has both the funniest and most grotesque kills of the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>‘It\u2019s so much fun, great effects, and I\u2019m afraid to do anything now. Warner Bros. will be paying my therapy bills.’<\/p>\n<p>Paul Klein added: ‘Mixing great direction, inventive kills and a solid story #FinalDestinationBloodlines is the best the franchise has been. <\/p>\n<p>‘Gleefully gory and knows when to let a scene sit and build tension. I laughed, I clapped and a great final appearance for Tony Todd.’<\/p>\n<p>Many said they left the theatre with new phobias, with Mal Jutley writing: ‘Yes! Final Destination Bloodlines was great fun. Some seriously gnarly kills and a great addition to this brilliant franchise..get ready to unlock some new unhinged fears!’<\/p>\n<p>Luke Hearfield surmised: ‘Final Destination Bloodlines is blurghy brilliant \ud83e\udd2e New Decade, New Design, New Disgusting Deaths to revel in.
