Officers were seen descending on Gordon Ramsay<\/a>’s LA home after pranksters called in a hoax 911 report.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles<\/a> Police Department (LAPD) said it responded to a report made by an unknown person at 8.40PM on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

They claimed there was a gunman opening fire at the Hell’s Kitchen star’s Bel Air mansion.<\/p>\n

However, when police arrived at the scene, they found no evidence of a shootout.<\/p>\n

Neighbours also confirmed nothing had happened at the property, according to TMZ.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ramsay, 58, who was not at his LA home at the time of the call, appears to have fallen victim to ‘swatting.’<\/p>\n

to emergency services to trigger the dispatch of a large number of police officers to a particular address.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives have now opened an investigation into the Ramsay case, but no one has been arrested.<\/p>\n<p><em>Metro has contacted Ramsay for comment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In February, Ramsay revealed he was the victim of another crime as thieves had stolen<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/21\/gordon-ramsay-reveals-thieves-stolen-hundreds-strange-4-50-item-restaurant-22599844\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> ornaments from his Lucy Cat restaurant.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first Lucky Cat was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2019\/02\/01\/gordon-ramsay-sadly-not-furry-just-opening-restaurant-called-lucky-cat-8425193\/\">opened
