data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/blue-origin\/\">Blue Origin<\/a> space flight on Monday. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/14\/katy-perry-makes-history-first-popstar-space-momentous-all-female-voyage-22906796\/\">Katy, 40<\/a>, was <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/14\/blue-origin-female-crew-katy-perry-long-mission-22904680\/\">one of the six women on board<\/a> during the 10-minute space trip to the K\u00e1rm\u00e1n line, the internationally recognised boundary of space.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/14\/blue-origin-female-crew-katy-perry-long-mission-22904680\/\">Their flight lasted 10 minutes and 21 seconds<\/a> and took off about 120 miles southeast of El Paso at 8.30 am local time on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>In the crowd was her Lord of the Rings star <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/14\/inside-katy-perry-orlando-blooms-relationship-brief-split-couples-therapy-22905401\/\">husband-to-be Orlando Bloom<\/a>, 48, who she\u2019s been with since 2016, and making a rare appearance was their daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing in brief moments on screen, Daisy, 4, could be seen wearing a silver astronaut costume as she watched the space craft. for fans.<\/p>\n<p>Katy brought a daisy flower with her on board the spacecraft and explained the significance to reporters.<\/p>\n<p>‘Daisies are common flowers but they grow through any condition, they grow through cement, through cracks, through walls,’ she said.<\/p>\n<p>‘They are resilient, they are powerful, they are strong, they are everywhere. To me, flowers are God’s smile. <\/p>\n<p>‘They are a reminder of our beautiful earth and the beautiful magic that is everywhere all around us.’<\/p>\n<p>Their daughter’s full name is Daisy Dove Bloom, and she was born in August 2020. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on his chat show, she revealed: ‘Daisy, to me, means purity, and Dove means peace,e and Bloom feels like it means joy.
