Blake Lively<\/a>’s latest movie has been at the centre of a ferocious legal battle<\/a> for months\u2014and now you can see what all the fuss is about.<\/p>\n

The Gossip Girl alum stars opposite Justin Baldoni in the screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover<\/a>’s romance novel, It Ends With Us.<\/p>\n

She plays Lily Bloom, who moves to Boston<\/a> following a traumatic upbringing, hoping to start her own business.<\/p>\n

There, she strikes up a fiery connection with charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni), but is ultimately left with a major dilemma when her first love comes back in the picture…<\/p>\n

It Ends With Us was released into cinemas on August 9 last year and has grossed an impressive $351million (\u00a3275m) at the box office.<\/p>\n

streamed on the site by those with an active subscription.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the most popular movies of 2024, it’s no surprise that it took a hot minute for it to become available for us to watch from home.<\/p>\n<p>However, Now is the first streaming host of the film, meaning there’s a chance it’ll arrive on the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/netflix\/\">Netflix<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/amazon-prime-video\/\">Amazon Prime Video<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/disney-plus\">Disney+<\/a> in the future.<\/p>\n<h2 off the silver screen and into the courtroom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/08\/anna-kendrick-fans-bits-awkward-response-blake-lively-drama-22692607\/\">A Simple Favor actress Lively<\/a> first accused Baldoni of ‘repeated sexual harassment and other disturbing behaviour’ in December.<\/p>\n<p>Her allegations were first made public through a New York Times report, which led to a strong response from the filmmaker\u2019s legal team. <\/p>\n<p>While\u00a0Lively has\u00a0claimed harassment occurred on the set of It Ends With Us, Baldoni has maintained that <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/video\/unedited-footage-justin-baldoni-blake-lively-filming-dance-scene-ends-us-3357219\/\">encounters were more consensual<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, branded Lively’s claims ‘completely false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious’.<\/p>\n<p>After denying the damning allegations, Baldoni’s camp filed <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/06\/blake-lively-sued-7-000-000-crisis-expert-justin-baldoni-war-rages-22506786\/\">a multi-million-dollar lawsuit<\/a>, suing both Lively and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/17\/blake-lively-looks-anxious-ryan-reynolds-jokes-justin-baldoni-scandal-22571511\/\">her husband, Deadpool icon Ryan Reynolds<\/a>, as well as publicist emotional distress,’ Baldoni began seeking damages of $400million (\u00a3323m) in his countersuit following her attempt to ‘destroy’ his reputation and career’.<\/p>\n<p>Lively and Reynolds’ lawyers then filed a notice saying they wished to seek to dismiss Baldoni’s suit, with their legal team labelling the lawsuit ‘baseless’.<\/p>\n<p>Just last month, Baldoni’s lawyer <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/10\/justin-baldoni-claims-blake-lively-sent-basement-ends-us-premiere-22335090\/\">continued responding aggressively<\/a> to the case, stating Lively’s claims would be debunked in due course.<\/p>\n<p>He said: ‘Her fantastical claims will be swiftly debunked as discovery moves forward.’<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div continue to pile up in the whopper of a case, with Lively’s attorneys pushing for stricter privacy protections after allegedly receiving ‘violent messages’ following <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/02\/justin-baldoni-leaks-bizarre-texts-ryan-reynolds-400-000-000-legal-battle-heats-22481408\/\">leaks from Baldoni’s camp<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Retorting, Baldoni\u2019s team argued that the current protective order was sufficient, saying Baldoni had also received threats, accusing Lively of trying to ‘prevent the public’ from accessing more
