Working with by far the best, most serious and meaty script he\u2019s ever had. Production Design that puts you in the era. Black and white cinematography that makes every frame gorgeous to look at. Acting performances that make every major and minor character feel like living breathing people. It\u2019s up there for the best-made movie ever.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The harrowing subject matter is obviously hard to watch, but it\u2019s so well done that it demands your attention. Impossible to take one\u2019s eyes off of. It leaves you with a pit in your stomach and mouth hanging like it should.\u00a0&#8216;<\/p>\n<p>Echoing their sentiment, SanDiablo shared: &#8216;I watch it every few years. It&#8217;s a damn near perfect film and I&#8217;m riveted every moment, not an ounce of fat. One of the few masterpieces in cinema.
