Rowan Atkinson\u2019s daughter Lily Sastry has spoken for the first time about her parents\u2019 divorce,<\/a> recalling how the split plunged her into \u2018darkness and chaos\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Mr Bean star,<\/a> 70, split from wife Sunetra Sastry in 2014 after 24 years of marriage. The couple share daughter Lily, as well as son Ben Atkinson, 31.<\/p>\n

Lily, 30, has now opened up on the end of the marriage, revealing the struggles of navigating a \u2018broken family\u2019.<\/p>\n

In an online post, she shared: \u2018I went through so much chaos and loneliness in my twenties. Now I am 30, I can see clearly where I was at and what was happening inside me during the darkest days.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was so lost and only really started to feel vaguely normal in my late twenties. I have always been trapped between worlds; do not belong here, but also don\u2019t belong there.\u2019  <\/p>\n

Lily changed her surname from Atkinson to her mother\u2019s name, Sastry, in 2017 and is now a professional artist living in London.<\/p>\n

She continued in her online post: \u2018It\u2019s hard to find out who you are in the midst of no friends, a broken family, and no idea how to navigate making music and trying to understand the world.<\/p>\n

\u2018Art was my guiding light. The thing that made all the suffering worth it; as I was working towards a goal, a dream.\u2019<\/p>\n

Actor Rowan became a father for the third time at the age of 62 <\/a>after he welcomed a child in 2017 with actress girlfriend Louise Ford, <\/a>44.<\/p>\n

\u2018Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can\u2019t wait for their new arrival. It\u2019s a very happy time for them both,\u2019 a source told Sunday People.<\/p>\n

Rowan and Louise, who is three decades his junior, have been dating since 2014 after meeting on West End production Quartermaine\u2019s Terms in 2012.<\/p>\n

Louise is best known for playing Kate Middleton in Channel 4 comedy The Windsors.<\/p>\n

Rowan and Sunetra were granted a divorce in 2015, who cited \u2018irreconcilable differences\u2019 in the divorce papers the following year.<\/p>\n

The former couple were planning to build an \u00a311 million home in Oxfordshire when they split, and Sunetra has since moved to a London mansion while Rowan has his own base in the UK capital with Louise.<\/p>\n
