documentary <\/a>about efforts to save one of the most trafficked animals in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Titled Pangolin: Kulu\u2019s Journey, it\u2019s been teased of the film: \u2018A man finds new purpose when he helps rescue a baby pangolin, one of the most trafficked animals in the world, in a sting operation in <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/south-africa\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">South Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He leaves the city and embarks on a heartfelt mission to rehabilitate and prepare the vulnerable animal for a life of freedom in the wild.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Pippa Ehrlich, who was behind the Oscar-winning feature My Octopus Teacher, it is a \u2018poignant exploration of the connection between humans and the creatures we share our world with\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>This week a trailer for the film was released and shows a man called Gareth Thomas help rehabilitate pangolin called Kulu in an attempt to sent him href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2016\/05\/20\/endangered-species-day-2016-these-are-the-17-most-endangered-animals-in-the-world-5894434\/\">but they run the risk of extinction<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure the illegal wildlife trading that is affecting the pangolin population by working at a rescue centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018There was definitely a fear of failure.
