Gal Gadot<\/a> will reportedly have a beefed-up security team provided by Disney<\/a> after she received death threats over her pro-Israel stance amid the Israel-Hamas war<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Israeli actress, 39, stars as the Evil Queen in the upcoming Disney movie Snow White and has faced calls for a boycott from pro-Palestinian activists who have criticised her casting. <\/p>\n

The Wonder Woman<\/a> star has publicly advocated for Israel<\/a> over the years, while co-star Rachel Zegler<\/a> has made her support for Palestine clear.<\/p>\n

While directly promoting the film as she thanked fans for their \u2018love\u2019 in response to the trailer in the summer, before adding on X: \u2018And always remember, free Palestine.\u2019<\/p>\n

This tweet from Zegler allegedly led to a spike in hate towards Gadot.<\/p>\n

It has now been reported that Gadot is facing death threats from fans because of her beliefs, and reports have suggested Disney has upped her security after concerns for the star.<\/p>\n

pay for additional security for the mother of four.’<\/p>\n<p>An insider also told the outlet that Zegler hadn’t realised the ramifications of her tweet: ‘She didn\u2019t understand the repercussions of her actions as far as what that meant for the film, for Gal, for anyone.’<\/p>\n<p>In October 2023, the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/10\/10\/gal-gadot-filming-venice-israel-hamas-conflict-19639563\/\">Israeli actress voiced her support for her country<\/a> after Hamas launched an attack at the Nova Music Festival, which killed 364 people.<\/p>\n<p>Gadot shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/gal_gadot\/p\/CyHF5n1t322\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>: ‘I stand with Israel you should too.<\/p>\n<p>‘The world cannot sit on the fence when these horrific acts of terror are happening!’<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, she also <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2021\/05\/12\/gal-gadot-calls-for-vicious-cycle-of-israeli-palestinian-violence-to-end-14571615\/\">called for an end of conflict<\/a>: ‘My Heart breaks. My country is at war. I worry for my family, my friends. I worry for my people. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018This is a viscous cycle that has been going on far too long.
