The character of the fictional princess, who will be played by Rachel Zegler in the film, has been pictured for the first time with her new companions who appear to be a mix of genders, ethnicities and heights. The actress, wearing Snow White&#039;s famous yellow and blue dress and a red cape, is trailed by the group who are dressed in brightly coloured clothes and carrying work tools. autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>They are, in fact, a different group of characters altogether, who Snow White (<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/rachel-zegler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rachel Zegler<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/13\/dwarf-actors-blast-snow-white-remake-replaced-cgi-characters-22718513\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the CGI-rendered dwarfs<\/a> end up encountering further into the story as she flees her villainous step-mother, the Evil Queen (<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/gal-gadot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gal Gadot<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the only major release Carmichael has been in recently either, as the actor also appeared as Doctor Nidik, the human professor who replaces goat teacher Doctor Dillamond at Shiz, in the massively popular movie adaptation of smash-hit musical <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/11\/19\/wickeds-phenomenal-film-adaptation-miles-better-stage-musical-22020741\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wicked<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Since getting his first big break as an actor thanks to the 188 188 commercials, reportedly at the age of 26 according to Isle of Wight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countypress.co.uk\/news\/25033331.disney-snow-white-wicked-role-isle-wights-colin-carmichael\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">County Press<\/a>, Carmichael has enjoyed a varied career.<\/p>\n<p>As well as appearing in other adverts for brands like Carling, Belvita, Go Compare and Captain Morgan, he has also popped up in episodes of Coupling, The Bill, Outlander and Black Mirror.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"696\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22790437 lazyload\" alt=\"The 118-118 advert guy is now in a cinema near you for one of 2025&#039;s biggest movies\" loading=\"lazy\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.isshicare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/SEI_245112929-98d5.jpg\">\t<\/div><figcaption>The performer has also appeared in Wicked and Hot Fuzz<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He\u2019s acted in Worzel Gummidge, Detectorists and Secret Diary of a Call Girl, as well as films St Trinian\u2019s 2: The Legend of Fritton\u2019s Gold and Hot Fuzz.<\/p>\n<p>Snow White was the number one film globally after hitting cinemas on Friday and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/20\/disneys-snow-white-remake-debuts-poisonous-low-rating-rotten-tomatoes-22758398\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claiming $87.3m (\u00a367.7m)&nbsp;over its opening weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, it has fallen short of hopes and estimates that were planning for $100m (\u00a377.6m) after a <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/15\/earth-going-frenzied-woke-backlash-disneys-snow-white-22717294\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">series of controversies around the much-delayed film<\/a> kept its title in the headlines for years ahead of release <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/06\/disney-scraps-uk-premiere-controversial-snow-white-film-attempt-avoid-backlash-22677832\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">thanks to sustained backlash<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While reviews were mixed to negative, Snow White has attracted some praise \u2013 especially for leading lady Zegler \u2013 and has manged a healthy 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from fan scores compared to a more dubious 42% from 210 critics\u2019 reactions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"449\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22756139 lazyload\" alt=\"Andrew Burnap as Jonathan and Rachel Zegler as Snow White hold hands as they look at fireflies in front of the dwarfs&#039;
