Netflix<\/a> fans have been reacting in shock and horror at a gruesome new movie on the streaming platform that\u2019s been described as \u2018Saltburn meets Parasite<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n

Delicious is a psychological thriller<\/a> which dropped on Netflix on Friday and has already stirred up a major response, with some people even claiming they\u2019ve lost their appetite after watching it.<\/p>\n

The movie follows a wealthy German<\/a> family, vacationing in France, who accidentally hit a young woman, Teodora (Carla Diaz), with their car while driving back from dinner.<\/p>\n

After seeing that she\u2019s hurt her arm, they take her home and attempt to pay her off so they can avoid an awkward and costly trip to the hospital \u2013 but the next day she comes back, asking to be their housekeeper after claiming her injury means she\u2019s lost her job.<\/p>\n

So Esther (Valerie Pachner) and John (Fahri Yardim) take her on as an employee for the summer, not realising that they will all become dangerously intertwined as Teodora seeks vengeance.<\/p>\n

Mueller-St\u00f6fen in her directorial debut, Delicious takes a terrifying horror turn as Teodora and her friends are ready to \u2013 quite literally \u2013 \u2018eat the rich\u2019 after fabricating wealthy couple is consumed by the gang of youngsters, which includes eating the flesh right off the bone, as well as preparing and preserving it as mystery meat in the fridge.<\/p>\n<p>In one I\u2019m talking about Delicious on Netflix btw,\u2019 asked @adetola_AA on X, while @songyujing_ added: \u2018I beg your finest pardon!!! wtf (this is the movie Delicious on Netflix).\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The appetite I had BEFORE watching it is now gone,\u2019 added @_bigtiffenergy_, while @flyiiingdumplin chimed in with: \u2018Delicious on Netflix YUCKKK ill [sic] never get those 2 hrs of my life back.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>However, others were fans of its shock and gory reveal, with broadcaster India Willoughby tweeting: \u2018Delicious on Netflix. Brilliant creeping drama about class. Wealthy German family on hols hire maid, and their lives start to unravel. Way better than Parasite. What’s more surprising is that this is a directorial debut,\u2019 shared Daniel Hart of his opinion on the film.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/11\/09\/barry-keoghans-extreme-saltburn-scenes-are-most-shocking-in-years-19794598\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">In Saltburn<\/a>, Oliver (<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/barry-keoghan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barry Keoghan<\/a>) insinuates himself with the stunningly wealthy family of his Oxford classmate, Felix Catton (<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/jacob-elordi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jacob Elordi<\/a>), who invites him to stay at their estate – only for <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/01\/01\/saltburn-star-very-uncomfortable-final-cut-film-20048640\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a series of horrifying events<\/a> to soon engulf its eccentric residents.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Parasite was the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2020\/01\/13\/parasite-uk-release-date-12049380\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">groundbreaking Oscar-winning class thriller<\/a> from Bong Joon Ho, which sees the struggling Kim family seize the opportunity presented when the son starts working for the wealthy Park family.
