Katie Price<\/a> has been cast in a new film alongside an actor known for his role in the Harry Potter<\/a> franchise. <\/p>\n

Katie, 46, has been announced as a member of the cast of upcoming comedy<\/a> spoof\u00a0Jackie The Stripper, alongside actor James Phelps<\/a>, 39, who played Fred Weasley in Harry Potter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair will also be joined by Charlotte Kirk<\/a>\u00a0(Duchess), Jamie Lomas<\/a> (Hollyoaks), Chloe Meadows (Stigma), and Kimberly Wyatt<\/a> (13 Going On 30).<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> reports that the film – directed by Michael Head and produced by Frankham Films – has already begun filming in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The synopsis of the film reads: ‘Set in London\u2019s Whitechapel district in 1888, Kirk stars as Jackie\/Lottie who finds herself plagued by the infamous Jack The Ripper (Lomas) who is head of a secret organization known only as The Court. <\/p>\n

‘Only one man, John Grey (Webster), stands up to the Ripper, vowing to fight against the tyranny, carnage, and male oppression that is left in the court\u2019s wake.’<\/p>\n

It continues: ‘Cut to modern day, and a group of kick-ass female assassins, led by their leader Jackie, plan a series of hits that will leave The Court dead in their tracks.’<\/p>\n

Other members of the cast include Gary Webster, Sophie Rankin, Perry Bensen, Amber Doig Thorne, Martin Sherwood, and Chrissie Wunna.<\/p>\n

The news of Katie’s upcoming role comes after her last successful acting venture: a Christmas pantomime with Kerry Katona<\/a>\u00a0at Northwich Memorial Court.<\/p>\n

Revealing the news of the panto casting on her podcast, Katie said as per The Sun<\/a>: \u2018I\u2019ve signed up to another panto! Cinderella!<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve signed up for Cinderella and I\u2019m one of the ugly sisters \u2013 and guess who is the ugly sister I\u2019m doing it with \u2013 it\u2019s Kerry Katona!\u2019<\/p>\n

Katie continued: \u2018So Kerry got me the gig because she has been working with them for six years.<\/p>\n

\u2018And she was like \u201cwhy don\u2019t you come and do this panto\u201d, and she said it was for the ugly sisters and I said, \u201coh are we ugly then?\u201d and she said we can still be really pretty.\u2019<\/p>\n
