Mandatory Credit: Photo by Moviestore\/Shutterstock (4313723l) Tom Hardy &#039;Mad Max Fury Road&#039; Film - 2015\" loading=\"lazy\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.isshicare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/SEI_123979041-03b2-e1741810895326.jpg\">\t<\/div><figcaption>Tom Hardy led the way in Mad Max: Furiosa (Picture: Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There is bad news for <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/netflix\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Netflix<\/a> users as an iconic action movie, with a near-perfect <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/rotten-tomatoes\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> score, is being removed from the platform<\/p>\n<p>After a series of developmental issues, Mad Max: Fury Road finally hit the big screen in May 2015, and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2020\/01\/17\/mad-max-fury-road-voted-greatest-movie-of-the-century-12076724\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was instantly met with rave reviews from impressed film fans<\/a> and awards galore \u2013 including 10 Oscar nominations and six wins.<\/p>\n<p>George Miller\u2019s post-apocalyptic flick served as a sequel to Mad Max, and starred <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/tom-hardy\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Tom Hardy<\/a>, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/zoe-kravitz\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Zoe Kravitz<\/a>, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.<\/p>\n<p>It followed Max Rockatansky (Tom) as he joined forces with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize) as they battled against warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh).<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for Netflix fans in the US, Mad Max: Fury Road has been <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/24\/easily-best-film-ever-made-quietly-leaving-netflix-just-days-22617780\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slapped with a pesky \u2018leaving soon\u2019 sticker<\/a>, and will be taken down on March 30.<\/p>\n<div class=\"factbox\" data-ico=\"factbox_article\" data-track-module=\"factbox_article\">\n<h2 class=\"factbox-title\">\n\t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on all things Netflix\t\t\t<\/h2>\n<div class=\"factbox-content\">\n<p> Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro&#8217;s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/newsletters\/tv-newsletter\/?ito=tv-article&#038;signup-source=tv-article-link\">Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we&#8217;ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A warning reads that the last day to watch George\u2019s masterpiece will be March 29 \u2013 it is currently not available to stream in the UK, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/11\/one-greatest-british-films-made-finally-amazon-prime-video-22710114\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">but action lovers can buy or rent it from Amazon Prime Video<\/a> now.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mad Max: Fury Road - Official Main Trailer [HD]\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hEJnMQG9ev8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The movie currently boasts a huge Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 97%, compared to a slightly less audience rating of 86%.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/02\/23\/charlize-theron-didnt-feel-safe-with-tom-hardy-after-mad-max-clash-16154918\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Heaping praise on Charlize and Tom<\/a>, Leprechaun K raved: \u2018Movie was darn near perfect. Walked away knowing it will win a bunch of Oscars and it did.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The praise is well deserved,\u2019 Sergio A agreed. \u2018It took time, but George Miller has delivered a true masterpiece\u2014original, inventive, and exhilarating. No notes.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Arguably, the greatest action movie ever made,\u2019 Maxime T posted. \u2018The movie is full throttle from start to finish. It never gets boring and leaves you wanting even more. A must see.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>As Kevin P added: \u2018An insane roller coaster from beginning to end with amazingly creative and impressively practical stunt set pieces and thrillingly engaging visual storytelling. The movie has such a badass high level of energy that keeps up the momentum throughout the entire film.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s boosted by its leads actors Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as Mad Max and Furiosa, both whom show off so much character despite saying very few lines. Some films you\u2019ve forgotten by the time you get to the car park.
